Here's a fantastic image of Babe Ruth (center, rear) with Dr. Erle V. Painter, a chiropractor, seen treating members of the New York Yankees in this picture published in the May 1934 issue of The Chiropractic Journal.
Dr. Painter worked with the Yankees from 1930 until 1942 and is considered a pioneer in sports chiropractic.
